My Coffee

My coffee used to be black, thick, strong coffee.
But I drink coffee with milk lately, something smooth,
something mild, something khaki in colour.

I used to brew roasted ground coffee,
a perfect blend of 80% Arabica and 20% Robusta.
It was not just a cup of joe, it was espresso in a big cup!

Now I drink the easy instant coffee from a big jar.
Something big in brand with a big size of jar
(the biggest I can find in Tesco shelves!)
I've ignored that tempered-glass cafetiere for a while.
I abandon my Bialetti espresso pot.
The closest friend of mine at the moment is that whistling kettle.

I've been seized by the rushes of time.
